Refrigeration Oil

Refrigeration oil is a specialized lubricant designed for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It ensures smooth compressor operation, reduces friction, and enhances system efficiency by maintaining optimal lubrication under extreme temperatures. The right refrigeration oil helps prevent wear, sludge buildup, and chemical reactions that could compromise system performance. Below, you’ll find five major categories of refrigeration oil, each tailored to specific applications and refrigerants.

Air conditioning systems on roof top

PAO Oil-TEX902 Series

Premium synthetic refrigeration oil with excellent thermal stability and low volatility. Ideal for high-performance industrial and commercial refrigeration systems.

PAG Oil-TEX909 Series

Fully synthetic polyalkylene glycol oil designed for HFC systems. Outstanding lubricity and moisture tolerance, commonly used in automotive and HVAC applications.

AB Oil-TEX903 Series

Alkylbenzene-based refrigeration oil offering superior solubility and stability in HCFC and CFC systems. Widely used in commercial and transport refrigeration.

POE Oil-TEX906 Series

Polyol ester oil compatible with HFC refrigerants like R-134a and R-410A. High miscibility and excellent wear protection for modern compressor systems.

Mineral Oil-GS Series

Reliable and cost-effective mineral refrigeration oil for traditional CFC systems. Proven performance in legacy applications with stable lubricating properties.

➤ It depends on the refrigerant you use and the specific system configuration. For example, POE oils are commonly used with HFC refrigerants like R-134a or R-410A, while mineral oils suit older CFC-based systems.

➤ Yes. All our refrigeration oils are tested for chemical stability and material compatibility before shipment. These tests cover common refrigerants (e.g., R-134a, R-404A, R-410A) as well as typical system materials such as metals (copper, steel, aluminum), sealants (e.g., FKM, NBR), and elastomers. Testing follows ASTM, ISO, or customer-specified standards. Compatibility charts and third-party test reports are available upon request.
